In an all white design, there is always a challenge to add certain elements that bring a touch of playfulness in the environment. In this case, we have cream background which is a shade of white, but the challenge is the same.
What the designer does is to add subtle lines in the finishing of the wall, the furniture and other elements. The lines are black which makes them emphasized. In the living room, the designer has added the subtle lines to the TV feature wall. We also see the lines on the bar stool.
The designer uses the same trick in other rooms as well. For example, one curved line above the headboard in the bedroom is all it takes to break the monotony of the all cream background.
And in the office room, those subtle lines are placed on the floating shelves. In the master bedroom, the designer places the lines on the headboard and on the TV feature wall.
