In an urban interior design, the goal is to use nontraditional materials and design features, and sometimes they include elements that are common for industrial interior.
We see all of those characteristics in the living area, with marble, tiles, granite and other materials used for the elements.
What is special about the living area is the unique TV feature wall. It is a certain type of a mosaic, with just three squares opened for decorations, while the other squares are tiles. It creates a sense of playfulness.
Another characteristic of the urban style is to include random and non functional objects, which in this case are the two plants next to the TV feature wall. The goal is to create outdoor, urban atmosphere.
The apartment features both wet and dry kitchen, one for where you do the cooking, while the dry one is for the dining table and quick lunch. In this case, however, true to the urban spirit, there is no dining table. Instead, the designer places a bar chairs on the kitchen island.
