Texture plays a huge role in the décor of the apartment, as you can rarely see a “nude” wall.
In the living room, the designer makes a great combination of timber, which is the standard for Scandinavian design, with brick like wall and tiles flooring. All the colors are close to each other, making it feel natural and airy.
The wallpapers, both in the dining room and the children room are on pair with the colors and motives of other elements in the room which creates a certain flow.
For example, in the dining room, the wallpaper echoes the design of the drapes. In the children room, the wallpaper and the beddings are of the same motive.
An interesting concept is the sliding door separating the entry hall from the living area. Made out of dimmed glass, the doors are not completely transparent, as they have traceries on them.
In the living room, we again see the tendency of covering all walls with texture. In this case, the designer uses a whole wall made out of timber as a headboard for the bed.
