We are used to see industrial style in large apartments, where the space has been decorated to look like a warehouse. And the first thing that comes to mind when warehouses are mentioned, is space, and lots of it.
However, that doesn’t mean that a small apartment cannot get some industrial flair. Starting from the living room, we see a compact environment, completely decorated to suit the daily lifestyle of the owners.
Industrial touch is visible through cement like TV feature wall and ceiling lighting. All the cabinets are decorated in a way to look like boxes and chests. Take the cabinet under the TV, or the shoe cabinet for example.
The kitchen is an open concept one, linked with the dining room and the living area. Cement like walls enrich the kitchen also, and the rugged texture on the wall is a perfect contract for the smooth wooden finishing on the kitchen elements.
The trick with lighting in all rooms is to focus the illumination towards certain points.
In the bedroom, the designer again uses the box-like outlook for the furniture elements, this time on the wardrobe. The built in wardrobe saves a lot of space in the relatively small bedroom, and the box like design adds some flair and playfulness.
