A modern classic theme was composed in the living hall where the marble-grained laminate was laid in a bigger piece in comply with stainless-steel inlays, pairing with 2 long strips of tinted mirror to lengthen the visual of the feature wall.
Ceiling was deliberately constructed with cove light pelmet holders in the middle & matched with a pair of inner L-Box painted black. This is to integrate the lengthen visual from the feature wall to the remaining of the living hall.
Matched with a darker colored textured square wallpaper, the whole area is being toned down. As the owner has 2 young kids, wallpaper of a darker color prevents the kids from vandalizing the bare walls if uncovered.
A 4ft bar counter was fabricated for 3-seater with the intention to sit more guests when parties are organised. A storage cabinet was installed for storage of wines & a door was designed to hide out the existing bomb shelter below the stairs.
The balcony was transformed into a cozy area with the installation of outdoor wood decking. Outdoor wood decking is able to sustain minor rain splashing and is easy to be maintained for long run.
With the 2 young children sharing a room with the company of their domestic helper, a enticing design was conferred to this room with a double decked bed coming with 1 more sleeping place for the helper at the bottom deck.
Not just so, display shelves were designed for the kids to display their wish & functions for study is equipped at the bottom deck. A full height cabinet was later integrated with the existing wardrobe provided by the developer.
Not forgetting to cater a space for guests, the guest room was designed for sleeping space for 2. Full height cabinet was integrated with the existing wardrobe for more possible storage spaces, and a top hung cabinet was paired with a suspended study table.
When the guests are not around, the adults converts this space to become their personal study area.
Staircase of this unit was grinded and varnished upon handover to home owners.
Leading upstairs, the master bedroom was enlarged by extending out their usable space with the aid of hacking of walls. The new entrance is now replaced with a sliding door instead of the existing casement door.
A dressing area was created next to the view of their pool. With natural light introduced every morning, the home owners are able to do up their dressing with no need of turning on too much light fittings.
Also, this home owner is also able to pay attention to what is going on at the pool area without exiting their room. A sliding wardrobe was installed for more storage of clothes. Open shelves were devised for placement of books.
This design is suitable for home owners who have a habit of reading/seeking concepts for more storage spaces. During night time, this area has been converted into a work station catered for 2 to be seated.
In the sleeping area, the master bedroom has a platform bed paired with a full height cushion bedhead. The bedhead cushion was wrapped with PU leather for light maintenance required, and bronze mirror was matched to soften the overall look of the cushion bedhead.
In comply, a TV feature wall with a rounded TV console had been integrated with the main dressing area. TV console's side had been rounded with the consideration to prevent running children to be injured.
Carpet grass had been laid on the floors of the outdoor balcony on level 2 with the consideration of allowing kids to move out and spending some outdoor family time together.
