When you mention modern Scandinavian interior design, people usually associate it with a minimalistic, bright and mostly white interior. However, modern Scandinavian can be executed in a darker shade and version, and still look stunning.
Let’s start from the living area, where timber dominates in the feature wall, cabinets and everything in between. A small, horizontal display niche within the feature wall is a nice spot for precious decorations.
And as every room needs a splash of color, the designer adds a colorful rug on the floor, as well as multiple knitted pillows.
Opposite the TV feature wall, the designer places a playground area, highlighted by a LEGO art picture on the wall. Most people associate LEGO with children, but in this case, the storage cabinet looks as modern and as grownup as possible. Some adults can be childish from time to time as well.
In both bedrooms, the master and the common, quality timber again makes its way in. A timber platform in the master bedroom is an excellent place for storing items, and coupled with a high mattress, it gives the owner premium sleep feeling.
But for the Scandinavian touch, even the ceiling features wooden frames that result in faux ceiling and sky effect.
