In a true Western Style, the living room of this HDB flat features a bar corner, with pictures that resemble to the bars in New York in the time of the prohibition. Black and white pictures were big hit back then due to the conditions, and they are still IN now.
The living room also features an entertainment section with a small sofa, and a “science and culture” section with book shelves and telescope.
And while everything resembles Western Style, Scandinavian design is a big part of the modern interior design. Wood and timber play a huge role in the décor. In the kitchen, even though the elements are not wood made, their design looks a lot like a cut tree from the inside.
The bathroom is the best example of the mixture of modern, Western and Scandinavian design. Three types of wall/materials are blended together, with parquet on the floor, tiles on the sides and a brick like tile section for a Western influence.
