HDB White Kitchen 3D Design

At the moment you enter the living area, you have the feeling Apple has designed the interior. The attention to details is extraordinary, and the end result is as sleek design as the iPhone.

In the living area, the designer places a fresh plant to give it a touch of nature. And thanks to clever decorating, the plant is reflexed in the mirror.

Mirrors and glass play a huge role in the interior of the apartment, not just in the living area. But in the living area, we see how they can contribute to the elegant feel of the home. Take the TV feature wall for example, where the designer has placed a mirror on each side of the TV.

The kitchen is divided in two parts, with one serving as a dry kitchen, while the other serving as wet kitchen.

For the last room, the designer gives two different options. The first option is the room to be a working office, while the second is a bedroom. In both cases, we see similar layout, and attention to glossy material for the cabinet.

HDB Resale 3-Room Cozy Scandinavian

The designer has tried his best to make the small interior look as large as possible, and feel as cozy and as warm as possible.

The designer uses smooth concrete effect that spread from the living area to the kitchen and dining area to provide that cozy feel.

In the living area, the signature element is a mirror feature wall. The wall adds unique factor to the room, but also makes it look larger.

The kitchen and the living area are separated by a kitchen top. What is interesting is that the designer placed the dining room and area into the kitchen. It is a rare setting, but in a kitchen as large as this one it works flawlessly.

In the dining area, the designer uses another trick for practically enlarging the space. The sitting desk for the dining table from one side is a floating desk.

This trick reduces the space needed for the table, thus allowing more space for owners to move and manoeuvre through the kitchen.

The bedroom is another room where the designer uses mirror walls in order to visually increase the space. The difference, the mirror walls actually hide the wardrobe. It is a win-win situation. A timber headboard makes the bedroom warm and cozy.

HDB Open Concept Kitchen At Punggol Walk

We see two different styles for an open concept kitchen used here. Both have their strengths and both are appealing.

The first concept is part of a modern industrial apartment. In this case, the designer has used mosaic tiles to make a feature wall in the kitchen and bring some playfulness in the black/white/grey environment.

An interesting aspect of the first apartment is the living room as well, which is completely lifted on a platform, giving you a sense of being above everything and everyone. It is a prestigious aspect that designers use more and more in recent years.

The second kitchen is more colorful, vivid and with more life. But that is the aspect that the designer was looking for, with a style very similar to the art deco style.

A red fridge is a bold move for introducing color to a kitchen, but it works ideally in the white – light blue background. Tiles are again part of the wall, and while they are not fitted as mosaic in the first case, they are still small and playful.

In the essence of the interior is an industrial theme, but the apartment has enough Scandinavian style elements as well. It is another classic example of mix and match and how styles work together.

Starting from the living room, the designer shows his uniqueness by placing a cement grid wall as a TV feature wall. With glossy tiles on the floor and wooden furniture, the cement wall is even more emphasized.

The dining room and the entry hall are another area where the designer tries to incorporate as much natural elements as possible. But the subtle element is the shoe cabinet with black trimming, an element that shows the exceptional attention to details by the designer.

The bedroom is a room in which the designer installs a room within the room. How does he do that? By placing the bed on a platform and framing it within its own feature wall. The end result is a cozy sleeping area that works as its own room.

The bathroom is probably the best example for mix and match, as the designer matches several different styles within a small space, linking them all together thanks to a mosaic like wall.

One of the core values of modern interior designs is that they offer high level of functionality and they are very practical. Since the amount of furniture is reduced, the parts that are there, must be functional and remarkable.

Starting from the living area which is combined with the entry hall, the designer uses tiles flooring that works ideally in this setting. Thanks to a floor to ceiling window, the apartment gets enormous amount of light which is further reflected by the glossy tiles.

On the TV feature wall, we see three subtle lines from the bottom to the upper part. The lines just emphasize the sleekness of the interior, giving it classy touch.

An interesting concept can be seen in the hallway, as everything is placed on a small platform with illumination underneath it.

In the bedroom, the designer also installs a TV feature wall, but keeps the style in the room to minimalistic. A lunar crescent lamp is a perfect modern accessory.

Adding Textures to the Whites

1.Ultra Modern White At Seastrand Tower - Weiken.com Interior Design Pte Ltd

This room is pretty awesome! I am a fan of marbling designs and I am so in love with how the designer came up with the marbling design for the wall of the television as well as the carpet on the glossy white floor tiles. It added such classiness and elegance! Together with earthly toned furnishings, it made such a stunning home to stay in. Click on the picture to hop over to the source for more pictures!

HDB Light and Neutral Colours At Edgefield Plains

One of the biggest challenges for designers is to make a small space look virtually bigger and more practical. In this case, the designer calls for the help of neutral and light colors, with a neutral background for the furniture.

The moment you step into the apartment you enter the dining and living area, where the designer sticks to black and white combination for dramatic, yet neutral look.

The attention to details in the living area is extraordinary. With so many details, the designer adds subtle lines, as the ones on the TV feature wall in gray color, just so he can emphasize the sleekness of the interior.

An interesting element of the design is hidden storage and how it was executed. One will rarely notice all the hidden storage and display niches, but there are many, especially in the dining area.

In the children’s room, the designer adds several dimensions to the interior with clever and creative finishing. For example, the bed is lifted on a platform, and then there is the sky like effect on the ceiling. All those effects add dimensions and depth to the room.

A simple trick in the furniture placement and positioning can always make a room look different. That is the case with the living area.

The designer has used a sofa with a little curved line to change the shape and form of the room. While the move shortens the room, and makes it look smaller, visually, it is more appealing.

The royalty like elements are subtle, and you can notice them mostly by the use of colors (dark green and almost gold like), as well as on subtle elements such as pillows.

In the living area the designer has also added a corner for relaxation. Furniture finishing, such as the cabinet add a touch of unique feeling and decoration.

The large kitchen is divided in two sections, dry and wet kitchen, with the kitchen top serving as the border between the two. Bar-like chairs add some touch of western style.

Plants are an underrated part of the interior design, as the designer has placed one small plant in each room. A breathe of life and nature is always welcomed.

HDB Scandinavian Interior Creates a Heart Warming Feel

$

Let’s start from the beginning, which is the living area. In the living area, we see a different approach to a TV feature wall. Usually, the TV is a big one, with small feature wall.

In this case, a designer opts for a different approach, going for a full floor to ceiling wooden cabinet that serves as a feature wall.

In the living area, the designer also installs another feature wall, made out of brick like texture to complement the wooden cabinet. There are many styles that are mixed and matched in the living area.

We also get some black and white combination on the rug, but the end result is comfortable, cozy and warm atmosphere.

Light brown wooden furniture is a huge part of the design. From the entry hall, to the living area, the designer adds shelves with display niches. The small openings allow for light to flow through the whole apartment.

One of the best aspects of the interior is the hallway from the living area to other rooms in the apartment. Installing a mirror in the corner, the designer adds a wonderful visual element. The mirror adds visual appeal, but also makes the hallway look bigger.

In the kitchen, the designer again adds some tricks from the Scandinavian style. The finishing on the kitchen elements is of timber, and the outlook is as natural as possible.

Beautiful Dry Kitchen At Straits View Residences

The main topic of the apartment is how the designer has creatively used the space under the stairs. There are many options that designers and owners can go, but in this case, the designer places a kitchen right next to it.

The real under the stairs space is used for a storage cabinet, but the door is hidden in a subtle way by the kitchen countertop. Once you get to the rooms of the apartment, you feel mesmerised by the beauty of it.

A romantic theme, resembling the Victorian style of the 16th century in Britain works wonderfully in the setting. All the vintage elements, such as the lamps make it even more mesmerising.

The white background is an ideal solution for an interior where flowers are added via wallpaper, pillows and other objects. The designer adds texture to the smooth interior via the furniture elements.

In the large bedroom, the designer also adds a walk in wardrobe with a powder room corner in it.

New Usable Space For HDB 4-Room Resale At Bukit Panjang

The main idea of the interior design is to keep things as simple, clean and neat as possible, all while adding some valuable storage space and making the environment look as spacious as possible.

Sticking to neutral color scheme and careful illumination, the designer manages just that with minimal and simple furniture. Starting from the living area, we have the main signature element, the TV feature wall.

Portion of the wall is decorated with mirrors, while the other portion is transparent wood frames to unite it with the entry hall. The mirrors visually increase the space, and the portions make it cheerful, playful and interesting.

Everything is in free flow in this apartment, which is evident even from the entry hall. The shoe cabinet is integrated with the TV feature wall of the living area, creating a sense of unity.

The shoe cabinet is combined with the portions of mirrors and frames in the living room, creating a wall that divides the two rooms for little privacy.

The kitchen is the best example for simplicity that the designer was striving for. Using rich wood grain for the furniture, and combined with the tiles on the flooring, the designer creates a warm, and cozy environment.

In the bedroom, the designer deviates little from the simplicity theme, going for two feature walls, one for the headboard, and one for the TV. However, both are kept simple and neat. It is just a way to add texture to the nude walls.

Beautiful Open Concept Kitchen At Euphony Gardens

Right from the moment you step into the apartment, you can see that contrast is the main theme of it. The designer uses contrast through materials, textures and colors to make a clear distinction between the two floors.

While the first one is more modern and smooth, the second one is urban, rugged, cheerful and vivid. The brick texture of the second floor is an excellent complement to the modern, smooth interior of the first one.

What is also impressive is how the designer has created corners and separate rooms in an open concept environment. The sum is greater than the parts is a premise that fits this environment.

That doesn’t mean that the individual parts are not stunning. The kitchen, for example, looks rather simple, but when you start looking at all the subtle elements, such as the jars, the wine block and the flower pot, they all give it life, character and style.

The bathroom is a small sample of what the designer does in the whole interior. As in the open concept environment, the designer sticks two different and opposite textures one to another.

The smooth tiles are again the modern section, while the urban aspect is the brick wall and mosaic.

Starting from the living area, there are many ideas that one can use and implement in its own home. The typical Scandinavian design gets a touch of luxury with the use of marble for the TV feature wall.

As a material, marble is one of the more luxurious and prestigious options, and it provides the room with the social status ranking.

An illumination behind the TV feature wall emphasizes the feeling. But the living area is a Scandinavian interior in every sense. The minimalistic design, and neutral color background has been enriched with an interesting mug and a plant in a colorful vase.

The kitchen is done in a typical style with a small, yet subtle and unique twist. The subway tiles laid in a mosaic kind of way.

Wooden frame of the bed gives the bedroom the true Scandinavian feeling. Everything around the bed is done in a modern setting, including the walk in wardrobe, a TV feature wall with LED lights and much more. The illumination additionally brightens up the space.

A modern and contemporary interior design can always use some twists and unique elements. In this case, the designer adds a little jungle and urban touch for character and style in the modern interior with neutral background.

Starting from the living room, the designer has used the TV feature wall to “experiment” with different styles, motives and textures. But the jungle like frame of the TV is what stands out, with the timber serving as the perfect transition background to the neutral white.

It is an excellent example how to add bold style, but ease the pain. Jungle-like elements are present in other rooms as well, such as the study room for the example.

The difference is that the zebra-like rug is not as bold and as outstanding element as the one in the living area. However, it is still something that adds a unique twist in the white background.

One of the underrated aspects of the interior is the entry hall. While there is no entry hall for shoe cabinet and shelves, the designer places few floating display shelves just next to the entry door. But he/she places them in a way that they are visible to the whole interior.

In the master bedroom, things are getting calmer. A two color drape is an excellent calming element to go along with the laminate flooring.

$

With an average size of slightly under 3 square meters, a HDB bathroom can be quite a squeeze. However, a small bathroom does not have to be completely utilitarian. Here are some smart storage ideas for a tiny bathroom.

1. Build up
image
Source: www.goodhousekeeping.com

Add shelves on bathroom walls to create storage space where there was none. Bracket shelves or stacked shelves are not only affordable but easy to install too. The best thing about this solution is that you can utilise every spare space on the bathroom walls.

2. Hidden storage
image
Source: www.ikea.com

Why install a flat mirror above the sink when you can us that vertical space as a storage area? Install mirrored cabinets above the sink and you have both a mirror and that much needed space to store your toiletries.

3. Go down
image
Source: www.greenstylegallery.com

Take advantage of the room under the sink by adding a cabinet below. Not only will it hide the pipes, it will give you space to store larger items.

4. Use every inch
image
Source: www.woohome.com

That empty space above the toilet bowl? Make use of it by installing floating shelves. It’s easy to install and it looks neat. Another way to use that space above the WC is to place a built-up shelf around it. This solution is quick and easy, and works well for storing toiletries and larger bath accessories like towels.

5. Magnetic solution
image
Source: www.goodhousekeeping.com

Keep all those bits and bobs in check by putting up a magnetic strip in the bathroom. It will also save you all that time rummaging through cupboards and bags for items such as tweezers, nail clippers and pins!

6. Shower shelves
image
Source: blog.hipvan.com

People often overlook storage space in the shower area but it is essential when it comes to reaching for your toiletries. So why not created recessed shelving to store all those essential items?

7. Benched
image
Source: www.homeanddecor.com.sg

Instead of installing cabinets below the sink, why not install wooden planks to create a table and shelves? This will give you the extra storage space as well as a larger vanity area.

8. Up the ladder
image
Source: knockoffdecor.com

This is perhaps the quickest way to add more storage in a bathroom. Simply prop a ladder against a wall and add some baskets for instant shelves! To keep the baskets in place, simply use industrial strength glue to hold them in place.

9. Stack it up
image
Source: www.hgtv.com

Another simple way to instantly add storage in a bathroom is to stack waterproof baskets on the bathroom floor. Place the baskets underneath a pedestal sink to save room and to allow easy access to toiletries. Not only is this solution easy, it also adds visual interest to the space.

10. A peg up
image
Source: www.hgtv.com

Installing peg rails and matching wooden planks above the sink and vanity area adds another layer of space to place lotions, soaps and jars of toiletries. What’s more, the peg rail below the planks allows you to hang towels and clothing, keeping things off the bathroom floor!

HDB Industrial Theme At Blk 18 Marine Terrace

Granite walls, lighting cables and industrial lights on the ceiling all over the place, everything about this apartment screams warehouse. But the designer has managed to pull off the warehouse look in a modern setting with some creative ideas.

Starting from the living room, the designer adds some color and refreshment in the area via grass like rug in the central of it. The rug provides an urban feeling, and makes sure the environment doesn’t look like a warehouse.

The wooden coffee table is as unique as it can be, and with timber on the shelves of the TV cabinet, we get more materials that are contrast to the industrial theme in the living room.

The kitchen is an open concept one, with the designer installing a bar like top between the kitchen and the living area. The most impressive aspect of the kitchen is how the designer has managed to hide the industrial cables, placing shelves right on them.

And while every room features a lot of cables on the wall and on the ceiling, the designer uses those exact cables in the interior, implementing them and making them part of a larger topic. We see this approach in the bedroom as well.
