The basic of the interior design here is modern and contemporary style, but the designer adds a couple of Japanese style elements just for flavour.
Starting from the living room, we get to see several traditional Japanese elements such as bamboo plant, the wickerwork set f chairs and table, and the little bonsai on the TV cabinet.
In the living area, the main coffee table is also influenced by Japanese style, where the table is set as low as possible. You can throw in some pillows next to the table and get a traditional tea setup.
The shape and form of the kitchen makes it that the central, core part is only for moving, while all the kitchen elements are glued to the wall. This gives the owner, and the cook enough room to move freely and without obstacles when he/she is preparing the food.
The kitchen countertop is made out of marble, a material that is very popular in recent years due to its look and durability.
