The designer uses almost the same principle and layout for both the living room and the bedroom. And why wouldn’t he, since it works.
Being that it is a small apartment, in order to make it look visually bigger and add depth, the designer installs drop ceiling panels in both rooms for a sky like effect.
In the bedroom, the drop ceiling panels are even combined with the TV feature wall for a special frame around the room.
In the living room, the small room is “enlarged” visually by a horizontal mirror on the TV wall. There is no feature wall. Instead, the designer places a horizontal mirror on the nude wall.
The bedroom and the living room are contrast in color and appearance. While the living is darker, and more grayish, the bedroom is as bright as possible. But that is the result of a choice of drapery, as the living area has darker drapes.
Drop ceiling panels are also present in the children room as well. But the platform for the bed is the signature point of the children room. This way, the children are placed on a higher spot for sleeping, but they also get a ton of storage for books and toys under the bed.
