It is not easy to mix different wood laminates in one interior, but the designer does exactly that. The result is a stunning modern contemporary apartment with woody touch.
Starting from the living area, the designer creatively separates the area in three separate corners. The first “corner” is the living room, lifted on a platform with a feature wall that blends the flooring and the ceiling.
The TV feature wall is the place where the designer adds the wooden touch, as well as the cabinet. Both feature irregular lines that make them look playful.
The shoe cabinet is one of the best examples of mixing and matching different wood laminates. A clear, smooth laminate is used for the majority of the cabinet, with the designer adding a more rugged laminate for the display niche.
In the kitchen, the designer strives for a more rustic feel which he has achieved with rugged and woody accent on the kitchen elements. The designer again mixes and matches different laminates, achieving contrast on the elements with dark and light brown laminate.
Going into the master bedroom, the designer is leaving going for simpler design. This especially applies for the wooden laminate, used for the nightstand the floating shelves on the TV feature wall. However, adding a wall effect is a great way to make things more interesting.
